TamTax

This entry will consist on the birth of the design concept of the "TAMTAX" designs which came from similarity to the concept with the poster designs where I looked at creating the poster designs in the aesthetics of the always pads packaging, but this time I was trying to explore the aesthetics of the Tampon Pearl packaging, I am not fully familiar with that packaging brand as I am one more for pads uses as apposed to tampons so I wasn't all that familiar for the tampon packaging so I found this design concept harder to create so therefore I'd say this was just a harmless experiment. 

This was the packaging I was referring to.

As I say unfortunately these design concepts really didn't do it for me I felt these designs are very weak compared to some of my other design concepts but I do like the use of the wordplay with the Tamtax, so I guess it isn't all that bad, I can say the word tam tax wordplay concept came fro the fact there is a tampon tax and I wanted to experiment with the wording and instead of long-gating the wording to tampons I wanted to write the wording as TAMTAX. 

This here I just experimented with the colour co-ordination with this variation as I have used this colour scheme quite afoot in my packaging design concept to try and attract the feminine audience, that is what the tactic was there. Though I wanted to see what this design would look like with another colour choice as I thought other colour schemes may work better and felt this colour scheme worked better for this design concept so I am glad I experimented with that but I still don't think these designs are my best designs.
