Paul Felton: Magazine

Paul Felton: Magazine

With this artist, the way he has put a newspaper layout looks very exciting, I really like his chosen aesthetic using Greyscale experimenting with Black, White and grey in various ways- this almost reminds me of our visible word project we did last year.  I really like how Paul created a lot of experimentation

This here is a format of Paul Felton Magazine which I think is an interesting format to try and follow for inspiration for my newspaper design, I really like the format of this booklet/magazine because it is easy to follow, simplistic and has its own aesthetic using the greyscale colour scheme in a contemporary appearance. For this format I'd like to find inspiration for the experimentation with the typography and the writing for the articles about where it is all positioned to help me format and function my Newspaper design.

I really like how the text is divided in different sizes and scales and how tis been positioned the ones here which capture my attention is the black background and the big number texts and the Q and A, purely because it is different and isn't necessarily what you'd see everyday.

I like the experimentation of negative space with this imagery and has given me a lot to think about for when I put my newspaper format together which is always good, I like how the imagery is simplistic and is symbol based as well. I hope to maybe try adding this kind of aesthetic for my newspaper.
