Placards, billboards & posters
This entry will cover me physically printing my posters for trying to advertise my campaign to end period poverty and make sanitary products free of charge and these were the most successful results as prints below.
Condom: Durex
Posters to free sanitary products in the Sex Clinics and places of work and Education
With these designs, they printed really well, the dynamics of both of these posters put next to each other delivers a strong impact and you can see the simple message and it makes you think and the fact that they are displayed next to each other works well.
More Posters and Billboard designs on display
These poster displays look brilliant, I like hows right and lined up these poster are, these were set brilliantly, I think these would do well to convince people to listen and make amends for sanitary products for women if they were put outdoors and into posters in shops and town centres the dynamics of the posters work well, the red, white and black Billboard designs on the left hand side, work very well printed and and displaying them together worked well but I reckon they would look better displayed individually on Billboards if they were outside the toilet cubicles. The same goes to the designs on the right hand side putting them displayed together worked so well together, I wish I put them on the longer part of the wall for display but they still work as they are on display. I would also of liked to imagine these designs on the right-hand-side displayed internationally also.
Bloody Necessities
Bloody Necessities Is printed and works like a dream! So pleased with this result and think it works well as both a Poster and a Billboard design and could imagine this design being displayed in toilet cubicles and everywhere you turn.
More posters on display
"Reminds me of Andy Warhol's work with the poppet element to it." ~ Chandler (Friend and Peer from another UCA campus.)
Always and luxury posters
These look brilliant on display I think the luxury posters on display together works brilliantly together and I think if these were being displayed outside toilet cubicles and in public places, I feel these designs would have to be displayed next to eachother and think they work tremendously well together and think if people saw these, they'd likely read them, I think the always poster works also but I do think it may seem repetitive with the fact they all say the same thing, but at the end of the day that is what the aesthetic of this design was so people can learn the message I am trying to communicate visually.
Dress up to Fess up
This here is me dressed up with the costume with my poster round my neck and with the posters beside me.
This was such a fun campaign to create, I learnt a lot about Period Poverty and I have learnt alot of techniques and processes for designing these posters and Billboards and dressing up as my design to make sanitary products essential and end period poverty. I have had fun creating these designs and have enjoyed dressing up as one of my designs also.
