This page spread I think works well with the colour scheme of the posters on the double page spread about Covid 19 but I think the images work very well with the article I wrote which I wrote in my diary in the summer project where I described my experiences of COVID 19 with Lockdown I think this page is a good newspaper opener because you can see what the newspaper is about straight away. for me I like the way this page was laid out because of the text consistency.

This here is added words from what I wrote in the summer project describing my experiences of COVID 19 further but this time being the more negative vibes of COVID 19, and I feel that the illustration I designed for this double page spread works much better, the only thing I might add is the fact that the columns aren't divided very well and something I have recently learnt, is to get rid of the Widows and Orphans (text with one word on a line, which Anne Taught me Last week.

Article By Amanda Frances, Y2 Fine art!

This article written by Amanda is all about her times during the lockdown and about her experiences of the 2020 pandemic. the image in the middle of the double page spread is what I created which is a piece of typography based on the more positive sides of lockdown because it I felt that this image was best suited the article as her article isn't full of negativity and is very well written, well done Amanda! again another thing I would address is the arrangement of the text and cleaning up the type on the article, by getting rid of the Widows and Orphans (text with one word on a line, which Anne Taught me Last week.

With this page here I would say works quite well, only thing I am beginning to wish is if I played a little more with white space after speaking with Anne and the other tutors on Thursday I do wish I added some more white space as the newspaper is very bam, bam, wham in your face. Ultimately at the time I wanted the aesthetic to be very striking and very ambiguous and very in your face because COV ID 19 is very much like that, it is very sudden and in your face and you're facing the world of the unknown, this was the look I was hoping this look was creating, so despite wishing I experimented more with white space, now that I have explained my reason for my imagery to be sudden and all over the place it in a neatened and consistent way, and you'll be pleased to know there is no Widows and Orphans in this text.

The text is just of other people's experiences of Covid 19 lockdown I really enjoyed getting a real insight on other people's experiences because at the end of the day everyone is different and everyone will have a different experience going through the same sinking ship which was really interesting to learn from other people's point of view.

Fashion Pages

Firstly huge thanks goes to Dom, Jasmine and Alicia for their participation in the photoshoot. it as helped with the fashion part of the newspaper.

For this page layout above is to do with the lockdown trends, the thing I like about this layout I have mentioned this before but I like how I have written the text within the photo on the bottom lefthand side, I thought it just worked perfectly well and I like how the photographs are arranged also.

With this double page spread it is all about the accessory trend of 2020 that became a law requirement across the world which is the face masks.

With this double page spread is about the trending stay home fashion trend I must say the title of this page spread again as I mentioned when I properly analysed these is that the word proved couldn't be more relevant to this page spread because of a film being called Devil Wears Prada which is a film about the fashion industry which because this page spread is fashion related it worked really well, this was not a deliberate title it was just because it worked with the word Pyjamas, it makes even more sense with the geeky film reference I just said and that was unintentional but works perfectly.
